The support site for the Unified Compliance Framework

Picking your tools

There are certain data tools that you are going to need to get yourself set up. Remember that you are building out a compliance library here - a structured way of dealing with information. Therefore, you are going to need to pick a language to speak, and then set some rules down for that language.

To get you started, here are some of the decisions you are going to need to make:

1. The language you are going to use (we suggest XML).

2. How you are going to structure each of the lists you are going to create (such as tracking IDs, hierarchical order, etc.), and how you are going to document those structures.

3. How you are going to describe joining different lists together to build complex tables.
